Pro tip, lenses in and be aware. Keep your lens pointed in towards you when your camera's hanging from your shoulder. First reason is, it's the natural way when you reach down and grab your camera and bring it up with your right hand. Your lens will be pointed the way it needs to be pointed. If your lens is pointing out, you'll, kind of, have to flip it around as you bring it up. So, it's quicker, but the better reason to carry your lenses in are, it is so easy to walk by and just lift a lens off your camera. Like, if you've got two cameras and one of them's hanging by your shoulder. And, the lens is pointing out. I am pretty sure I can walk in very quietly bump into you, spin around as I bump into you, take your lens and you will have no clue. I know because this has been done to me. Not by a professional pick pocket, although it would be the easiest thing in the world. But by my college professor who walked down the side lines at a football game, lifting a lens from each one of us…
