Shooting through a fence to capture a ride scene

- Okay, well, I had planned to go to a different ride. But when I glanced over this way, I noticed that the backlit, with whatever that ride is, it's some kind of a roller coaster, was kind of interesting. It was very graphic. Now, I am sort of locked in by this fence here. I didn't have time to move out, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I put my lens up, right up close to the fence. I was in single point auto focus, so I can focus on what it was that I thought was most interesting. I was going to maybe use sort of the graphic nature things, and maybe a silhouette. I don't know exactly if it's going to work or not. I'm with auto ISO, I've got my minimum shutter speed at 1/400 of a second. For something like this I might want a faster shutter speed, so I just quickly went and I adjusted so my minimum shutter speed was 6/40 of a second. That'll be fast enough to stop any of this kind of action. When you're shooting through a fence, in my experience, single point auto focus is the most…
