Using a chain as a stabilizer for your camera

- Hi, and welcome to the DIY photography series. I'm your host, Joseph Linaschke. And today's course is all about low light. Now as you know, if you're out shooting in low light, either you're walking around town or even at home, sometimes you can't quite hold that camera steady enough to shoot at that slower shutter speed that you might want or need. Now obviously, if you've got a tripod, that's great. But of course, carrying a tripod everywhere we go isn't something that most of us do. And frankly, a tripod isn't something that you can put into your front pocket and just carry everywhere. So today's tip involves a piece of chain and a couple other little pieces that we'll need from the hardware store. And we're gonna build a stabilizer for our camera using just those parts. So let's head off to the hardware store and see what we need. Today we're going to build a tripod chain. I know that sounds a little bit odd, but you'll see how this works in just a moment.
