Understanding the various types of photo essays

- There's a number of different types of photo stories you can do. I just wanna lay out some of those different types. And by putting them in categories, I don't want you to think that these are the only types that you can do. Rather, I wanna give you some ideas of different types of photo projects that you can work on, or some different types of photo stories. The most common photo stories that I do or I get assignments for are things documenting people or events, and I've got a couple examples of these I'd like to show you. First off, I wanna show you what I would consider a photo story about an event, and this, I went to Japan, I can't remember how many years ago now. A number of years ago, I went to Japan to document the aftermath of a tsunami, and I was there for about a month, month and a half. And this is really a project that is not character-driven.
