Batch renaming the photos

Once the files are done, you're going need to batch process them so they create a proper image sequence. The tricky thing here is that most time lapse applications want a clean numbering scheme. And depending upon how you built these, you might end up with irregular file names. Note here that as we built this out, it started with the name of the first file, and then added the numbers for which images were also included. Easy enough, but we need to do some renaming. So with everything selected, I could choose Tools > Batch Rename. This makes it very easy to process how these are going to get renamed. For example, I'm going to choose to rename these in the exact same folder. So I simply update what's here. But what I want to do is add some new text. So I'll call this HDR 1B, since I've developed this file three different ways now. And I'll add an _. Next, I could use a three or a four digit number sequence so the files have a consecutive run.
