I'm working on a new series, and for the series, I decided to brainstorm and do different exercises to try to figure out how I want it to evolve and what can inspire it initially too. So I started writing down my style terms, as I call them, and those are basically key words that I use all the time in my photography. So, dark, whimsical, fairy tale. These are words that I continually use to describe my style. At this point, I want to introduce something new to that work that I haven't previously dealt with. Destruction for me, when I was writing down these style terms, evolved into reconstruction. And that was a really important word for me to write down for this new series because I wanted to do something with nature and something with the human form. And combine those together in a way that would either be reconstructing nature in new way or deconstructing the idea that, that nature is dying, and that humans are taking over.
