Finding compositions in the dark

- You know when you're photographing in the the daylight, it's easy to spot compositions because you can see everything so well. But when you're out in the dark, sometimes it's harder to find compositions or to know what might be a good composition, simply because the light levels are so drastically reduced. Now we still have a little bit of light here now. We're kind of in the twilight time but there is heavy cloud cover. So it's getting dark pretty fast. So what I wanna do is just talk about a few concepts that you can use and practices that you can go through to help you find good compositions at night. And just some things to be on the lookout for. Now one thing that I like to do is kind of separate the scene into different segments. So, in the scene behind me, I have the sky, that's one distinct area. I've got the mountains. There's a sort of tall spiky cactus plant back there in the middle ground. And then, in the more immediate foreground area here we have the smaller cactus…
