- One of the things that surprised me on my visit to Cuba, and it's a delightful surprise, was how much I enjoyed the art there. I had heard maybe a little bit about it, but I was not prepared for so much art that was available in the plazas, at galleries, in stores. Artwork is everywhere, and you know, I wanted to bring a lot home. I have a lot with me. We have some of it up here that I really enjoy. The thing is though, that when you buy art there, a lot of times you're actually buying from the artist himself or herself. This is a great photo op. So, for instance, let's think about it. It'd be like if someone asked you I wanna buy your photograph right there and you go really? Okay, that's great. So, you're thinking alright, this is wonderful. Someone likes my photograph enough to buy it, and they go would you do me the favor of holding the artwork for me and letting me take a picture of you? I wanna have a picture of the artist also. That feels good and it feels good for them and…
