Posing a subject in a good low-light street scene
- Well, I didn't want to leave this area without taking advantage of this backdrop. - Let's see what the light looks like. - I thought the graffiti here is kinda beautiful and those globe lights illuminating very softly and I thought, "It would be nice to do "a portrait of someone here." So, I figured I would come across to this location and I would find an interesting person that I would ask to photograph. So, there's a light here and I noticed there's this motorcycle dude and they have this really cool kind of kerchief, kind of a scary, I don't know if it was a skull and crossbones. I'll have to look at the pictures to see - Hey, can I shoot you? - but I thought, "Hey, that makes a good picture." So, I just went up and start shooting. I mean, often I'll do that. Better to beg forgiveness than ask permission but he was pretty okay with it. He was waiting at the light anyway. - Look this way. - So, I moved a little bit to try a couple of different angles. - Little mask, I like that…
