Shooting HDR at night

- In other movies in the course, I have referred to the technique of making multiple exposures or more than one exposure to record detail in different areas of the scene. And I want to take some time to go into that concept and that practice in a little bit more detail here. So I have my composition set, it's the mountain range there with the clouds. The clouds are looking really great in the sky right now. And some of these little dunes on these hummocks with vegetation on them in the foreground. And I want to create a night HDR effect. So let's just briefly just mention what HDR is. It stands for High Dynamic Range. And it's the practice of taking multiple exposures of the same scene, at different exposure settings, and then combining those so you can record a greater range of detail in the shadows, mid-tones and highlights than the camera could do on its own in a single shot.
