Understanding good places to start

- Plazas are great places to start your shoot for the day. I mean, I love starting out the day in Old Towne Havana plaza. Or one in Trinidad. Trinidad has three, I believe. And the reason being is because to me, the plazas are a microcosm of the community that's there. And there can be all sorts of things going on. On one level, yes, starting on a plaza is a great way to get your feet wet that day and get some momentum, but then, how you approach the plaza is, is also kind of a strategy there that's involved with that. What I see a lot, and I observed a lot of people visiting while I was there, is that they would get out of the taxi or get off the bus and then (imitates a gust of wind) kind of just charge ahead, almost head down into maybe something that they knew or they're gonna visit.
