- [Instructor] Like any worthwhile project, creating a portfolio requires that we go through different stages of development. In other words, if we want to get up to the mountains in the background, we have to walk down this path. So here I want to talk about five different stages of development that you can go through to create a good portfolio. The first stage is ideation. This is the stuff we've already talked about so far, about our vision, and digging into our why, and really getting specific about our goals. In a way I like to think of this kind of like my buddy here climbing up to the top of that ladder, and looking off into the distance. Making sure that we're going in the right direction. The next stage, well this one has to do with our brand. In order for a portfolio to be effective, it needs to have a clear and cohesive brand.
