Configuring dual cards

- These days a lot of cameras have multiple media card slots in them. What I'm talking about is just when you go to put in a media card in your camera, you find that there are actually two slots here. Sometimes they might be slots for the same format. For example, this Fuji X-T2 has two SD card slots, and other times you might find that there's an SD card slot and a CF slot. What's useful about this is that there are many different ways you can configure how the camera addresses these two slots. By default, your camera's probably set up so that when it fills one card, it automatically goes onto the next card and starts writing images there. But there are other ways that you can have the camera use these multiple slots. For example, you can have it write still images to one card and video to the other card. Or if you're shooting RAW plus JPEG, you can have it write RAW files to one card and JPEG files to the other card.…
