Adding content with embed code
- Another way of adding content to a page is using an embed code. This allows you to use other third party services, such as Vimeo or YouTube, for video hosting. Here's how that works. Let's create a new page and I'll call it Video. Now, what I could use is take it one of two ways. I can either use the embed code or choose video directly. This lets you upload, but you might not want to go through the effort of posting your video directly to the site. If you want to use the embed code, that's pretty simple. Just click Embed. This gives you a box here. Now, you can go and find a file. For example, I have a hyperlapse here. If I click the Share button, I can now copy the embed code. Both YouTube and Vimeo have similar embed codes. Let's edit the embed code and paste it in, and choose Save Embed, and the video is added. If I want, I can also add additional content to the page.
