Advice for shooting photos

- Let's go over some specific advice when capturing photos so you can create content that's more sellable. With photographic content, make sure you capture at an adequate resolution. Most modern mirrorless and DSLR cameras will do this. Cell phones might be pushing the limit, particularly if it's older. But capture at the full quality your camera offers. Also, make sure you're setting the focal point and controlling depth of field. Using a fast lens that supports shallow depth of field is very important when it comes to stock. You'll often use that shallow depth of field to drive the focus, to create an area where there's room to put text or other elements, and to make sure things you don't have release forms for, such as all those people in the background, are adequately out of focus. You also wanna compose with room for design, so make sure that you're leaving open areas where logos or text can go, or that the photo is loose enough so it can be re-cropped as needed.
