Batteries in the cold

- Photographing in the cold can be a great deal of fun provided you're prepared for those conditions and if you're lucky enough, especially, to have a little bit of a winter wonderland scenario, but there is a key consequence of photographing in the cold. That is that your batteries are going to drain extremely quickly. The colder it is, the faster that battery is going to drain. One of the best things you can do when it comes to photographing in the cold is to make sure that you're keeping your batteries warm. Now, one of the things you can do, of course, is to keep your gear, your batteries in particular, in your camera bag whenever you're not using that gear. But, of course, many times you might find that you're photographing, then you're wandering around a little, photographing. You're kind of back-and-forth. You don't want to put things away.
