Bean bag for flexible support

- A support, such as a tripod, can be important to get a steady shot, but what about when you're trying to travel light, and you just don't want to carry around a tripod, but then you need some form of support? Well, a bean bag can provide an excellent solution. And here I actually have a bean bag called The Pod, that includes a bolt so that it attaches to my camera. I can screw it right on, just as I might mount my camera onto a ball head, for example, and then I've got this bean bag filled up, and this provides support so I can set my camera, even on an uneven surface, something like this. I can set the camera down and have that support of the bean bag. So in situations where you're maybe not even allowed to use a tripod, or you didn't want to carry a tripod with you, you might take a look at using a bean bag to support the camera, and especially a bean bag such as this one, that attaches directly to your camera, providing great support that isn't going anywhere.
