- So we are ready to shoot. This is the exciting part, guys. This is our better headshots with no gear, almost no gear. Right? So the last thing that I want to do is kind of coach my subject a little bit on their expression. Sometimes I'll tell them to look just at the top of the lens with their eyeballs, and then I want them to start with a small smile, and then each time I take a shot, give me a little bit more smile as we go. And then usually, we find something that we both like in the middle of that smile progression, I call it. So we'll get started now. All right. So we have our reflector in place. We're looking good. So what are my settings? My settings are going to be 1/250th, and my f-stop, my aperture, is f/4, and my ISO is at 500, and I am set to Daylight, and, of course, I am shooting RAW. All right.
