Changing ISO

- ISO is a very useful adjustment that modifies the sensitivity of your camera's sensor. As you increase ISO, you can use faster shutter speeds and smaller apertures. This is a typical adjustment to make when shooting in lower light. Higher ISOs though can add some noise to the image, but they do give you the flexibility of using smaller apertures to capture deeper depth of field, and faster shutter speeds to freeze the action or allow for handheld shooting. To change ISOs is pretty straightforward. You'll either have a dedicated ISO button or you'll have to access it through the menu. Now, on this particular camera if I press the center button here for the quick menu, you see that the different choices come up, and I can now choose ISO. And I've got my settings along the bottom. I can choose from the different available ISOs by just touching and dragging, or using the command dial here to step through. When I'm ready, just press the button again, and it will apply.
