Changing ISO

- ISO is a very useful adjustment that modifies the sensitivity of your camera's sensor. As you increase ISO you can use faster shutter speeds and smaller apertures. This is a typical adjustment to make when shooting in lower lighting levels. Now, higher ISOs can let in some noise, but they do give you the option of using a smaller aperture which lets you capture a deeper depth of field and use a faster shutter speed, which is useful to freeze the action. To change the ISO you may have a dedicated button or you may have to press the I button to bring up the multi-selector. Once I press this here, you'll see ISO available and now, using the wheel, I can lower or raise. Now professional Nikon cameras actually have a low ISO, the L value there, but the normal base ISO on this camera is 64 and it goes to up.
