Changing the shape of the softbox

Now, softboxes come in many different shapes and sizes. It looks like I have three different light sources here, but in reality, it's the same light. The only difference is the modifiers are going to change the way the light acts on a subject. This softbox is known as a traditional softbox. It's usually a rectangular shape. Now, inside it there's another baffle here. And what this is going to do, it's going to further soften the light as it's coming out. Now, what's really cool about the square, or the rectangular-type softboxes, is you could rotate them. So if you had a couple, you could rotate it like so, and the light will spill evenly on both of them. From here, we're going to transform into a specialty softbox. This is known as as stripbox. The main purpose of it is to guide the light into a slice. So you don't want to light the entire scene. You only want to light a sliver of the scene.
