Choosing the autofocus selection mode

- Your camera's auto focus is truly amazing. Modern cameras can work in very low light and can often even recognize the subject or a face. Most of the time I rely on auto focus when shooting. The auto focus mechanism can work really in a couple of different ways. Now the first method you learned about is pretty simple. You just press the shutter button halfway and the camera will lock focus and then take a picture. Its either going to beep or the focus indicator will change color when its ready to shoot. However, your camera can actually track focus too with a moving subject. And this works really well with the different types of focus points. Now you do need to influence how this is going to work. And a Canon camera is typically going to offer up to three different auto focus modes. Now first make sure that the lens switch on the side of the camera is set to auto focus.
