Configuring dual card slots

- The XT-2 has two memory slots, two SD slots. You can keep two SD Cards in the camera at the same time. What's cool is that you can configure the camera to use these slots in different ways. If I come here into the menuing system, and come over here to the Set-Up Menu, and go down to Save Data Set-Up. I find a couple of things that relate to the media card slots. First, is Card Slot Setting, Still Image. I have two cards in here right now. It is set on Sequential. I'm going to open that up and you'll see that I have three options. Sequential just means that when the first card fills up, the second card gets used next. So it just goes right through one card and into the other. This is a really handy thing for times when you're worried about running out of storage in the middle of an important shoot. Maybe you're shooting an event and you don't want to have to interrupt what you're doing to change cards. Obviously you could just use really big cards, but maybe you're one of those…
