- [Instructor] When I think about setting up a workspace that's going to include video conferencing, there are three things that are top of mind for me. The first thing is the overall functionality of the room. Because, let's face it, I'm not on video conference calls all day, some days it feels like it, but I have other work to do too. So I need to have a workstation that's good for me the rest of the time. The second thing is light. What kind of lighting am I going to be able to set up or use so that when I am on a video conference call, I look good? And then the third thing is, what am I going to do about the backdrop? What am I going to do about the background? Can I use something that's already there or do I have to put something up? So those are my three considerations.
