Controlling your camera with a smartphone

- Once you connect the device to the camera using Wi-Fi, it actually becomes a great remote control. It's essentially wirelessly controlling your camera. This gives you a lot of options. For example, you could take a picture remotely by pressing the shutter button to trigger the camera. Other cool things include the ability to adjust the focus on your camera. In this example, you can see that the focus point is dead center in the screen. But to move it, I just tap and it'll move to the other side. That's really quite cool. Additionally, if you need to, you can tap the camera icon in the top corner. And this will give you additional controls. For example, do you you want to download after shooting? Well then it automatically saves to your camera roll. Do you need a self timer because you're taking a group portrait?
