Crew resource management (CRM)
- Crew Resource Management, or CRM, is a set of training procedures for use in environments where human error can have devastating effects. Used mainly for improving air safety, CRM stresses communication, leadership, and decision making. Let's remember that the Remote Pilot In Command has the final authority and responsibility. CRM is the effective use of all available resources, human, hardware, and information, prior to and during flight to ensure a successful outcome of the operation. The Remote Pilot In Command must integrate CRM techniques into all phases of the sUAS operation. It really helps to do things like delegate operational tasks and effectively manage crew members. Recognize and address hazardous attitudes by applying the antidotes and implement effective team communication procedures. You should accept no unnecessary risk.
