- [Voiceover] This time on Photo Gear Weekly, we have a real treat. I found a gem in New York City: The Penumbra Foundation, where I've had the chance to take a look at lots and lots of vintage lenses and vintage cameras. Jeffrey is here with me, Penumbra Foundation. First off, can you give us an overview of what the Penumbra Foundation actually is? - Penumbra Foundation is a nonprofit photographic arts and education organization. We're devoted to early photographic processes, history of photography. We have many programs that deal with this aspect of photography. Many people use the word "analog". We teach early photographic processes. We have a lecture series and other programs to support artists working in these processes. We also use this as a way to teach photographers, potential photographers, existing photographers, how to use these techniques to make their own film, in essence.
