- I'm a big fan of photographing at night. There's kind of a magical thing that happens when I take my camera out and shoot it at high ISOs. Hi, I'm Steve Simon, the Passionate Photographer, and welcome to another edition of Photo Critique of the Week. This week, we're going to look at some images all shot in low available light. It's really incredible when we look at the tools that we're using, and I don't know what camera you have, but chances, it works really, really well in low light. And I'm often amazed when I ramp up my ISO and photograph at a decent enough shutter speed to kind of get sharp images just how beautiful the image ends up being, sometimes to the point where, you know, it's much nicer than the reality of what it is that I'm photographing, and that just encourages me to take my camera out at night. I mean, sometimes I will use a tripod and do sort of more traditional night photography but I love shooting the real world with people inhabiting it at night. So here's a…
