- You know, cameras are coming out with faster and faster frame rates, but will shooting a burst of images really help you to get better pictures, or can they actually hinder you from getting the image that you want? Hi, I'm Steve Simon, the passionate photographer, and welcome to a new installment of Photo Critique of the Week. Today we're going to look at just that, shooting a burst of images, and talk about what goes into the process, and whether or not it's really a good idea. Let's take a look. You know, I recently did these shots with a camera that had a frame rate of upwards of 20 frames per second. I mean, that's almost like video, really, and the fact is, the future of photography looks as though we will be able to capture... and we still can, we can now though it hasn't really come to the still side yet, but frame grab from a bunch of video imagery that you're capturing.
