- I know I've been drilling this into you over and over through this course, but I'm going to say it again. You can learn a lot about photography by studying other peoples' images. We all these days also spend a lot of time watching a lot of video, like this video right here, and there's a lot you can learn from watching how the images in these videos are composed, because a lot of thought goes into them. So, since we're spending this chapter looking at other peoples' images anyway, I thought we'd take this image apart and look at it. This composition was very carefully crafted by Jacob Cunningham, our director here. And I want to show you some of the decisions that he made. Like so many of the images we've been seeing, this looks easy, in that it looks like, well, what's the big deal. You're leaning in a doorway. He pointed a camera on you.
