Family, friends, and model releases

- One of the biggest challenges that every new photographer has is all right, who do I photograph? What do I do to build my portfolio? Now, until you actually get that first job, you've got to work with models. Some of the greatest models in the world are family members, are friends. And there's nothing wrong in roping your friends and family members. In fact, especially with family. This is a great way for them to understand how passionate you are about photography, about becoming a great artist. So it kind of gives you, it's got kind of a two-fold purpose. You want to build your portfolio with new images, but you also want your family to understand why you love this so much, and what you're going to do with it, and how you're going to build a business out of it.
