Focus confirmation

- As a general rule, we want all of our photos to be in focus. And thankfully, we can generally depend upon autofocus. Today's sophisticated autofocus capabilities in many cameras to help ensure that all of our photos are sharp. But it can still be helpful to get a confirmation that the image really is in focus, that focus was really established. For example, every now and then I found that I sometimes inadvertently turned off autofocus on the lens. With certain lenses it will set to manual focus without me realizing it. And if I'm not paying attention, in some cases, it could be easy to not realize that the cameras not focusing. If I'm capturing landscape photos I might not be able to tell that all the distant details are just a little bit soft. I think I'm focusing, but the camera isn't actually focusing because it thinks that I'm going to manually focus.
