Focus and exposure locks

- By default, when you half press the shutter button, your X-T2 auto focuses and meters and then locks those focus and metering settings. It beeps at you and it flashes a little light in the viewfinder. As long as you keep the shutter button halfway pressed, the camera will continue to hold those focus and metering choices. Now, this is a very easy system and it's identical to how every other auto focus camera in the world works, but it does have its drawbacks. For example, what if you want to focus on the center of the frame and meter on something on the right side of frame? Or maybe you're shooting a bunch of portraits of someone who isn't moving. They're sitting there, but they are trying out different expressions and you're making slight framing changes. If the camera refocuses every time you half press the shutter button, then you're not going to be able to shoot very quickly and you might miss a fleeting moment.
