Getting ready to shoot

- Okay, let's get ready to shoot. There's two really important things you need to capture pictures on a camera. A lens and somewhere to put the images. Let's start with the lens. Lets go ahead and set the camera down flat and twist to remove the body cap. Make sure the cameras powered off, because if it's powered on, dust will come in. Then, take your lens, twist gently to remove the cap, and set it down. Now you'll notice a small red dot. What you're going to do is line that up. So here on the camera there's the red dot and the red dot. Just line those up, it should easily fit together. If you have to force it, it's not working, and then give it a simple quarter twist, (click) and you'll hear it click into place. If you've done it right, the lens should stay attached. Just turn this and make sure it seems solid. Keep a hand underneath it, and as long as it stays attached, you did it right. Now to remove it is the same way.
