- Many of today's cameras and lenses include some form of stabilization technology. In many cases that stabilization is built in to the lens, and with some cameras there's actually stabilization in the camera itself. And that can help give you a steadier shot. Obviously, you could also use a tripod for example, to steady the shot. But there's another option, another category of camera, if you will, that enables you to get very steady shots for photos and even videos. And that is a gimbal camera. So here for example, I have the Osmo Pocket camera from DJI. And this camera has a built-in gimbal system so that as I move the camera around, the camera itself stays steady, depending on which mode I've enabled. And I have a small screen in this case, on the back of the Osmo Pocket, but there's also an adapter that I can use, so that I can plug in my smartphone and use the screen of my smartphone for purposes of reviewing…
