Gimbal stabilizer

- Today, I wanted to share with you a rather sophisticated type of camera support. No, this is not a selfie stick, this is a gimbal. Here, I have a gimbal for an iPhone or smartphone. A similar type of device is available for mirrorless cameras or even SLRs. The idea is that you're able to get a much more stable shot thanks to gyroscopes, and so you'll notice, as I move the gimbal all around, the camera remains relatively motionless. Certainly I can still move that camera around, but it maintains its angle and the overall position as I move the gimbal around. This is primarily intended for video photography, not so much still photography, and yet I find a gimbal tremendously helpful even for stills. In fact, I've captured long exposures hand held. Not too long, but a second or two long exposure hand held using a gimbal to help provide support for the camera.
