Hair dryer for lens fogging

- If you wear glasses, you've probably had the experience at least once in your life that you walk out of an air-conditioned building out on a hot, humid day and your glasses instantly fog up. That can certainly be annoying, but if you give it a little bit of time, the fogging of those glasses will clear up once the glasses warm up. The issue is that when glass or other materials are cold and you take them into a humid environment, condensation can form very quickly, and the same is true of course for the lenses on our cameras. And that means if you take a camera out of a cold hotel room while you're traveling for example, out onto a hot, humid day, that you may have fogging. And it can take a while, typically a few minutes at least for that fogging to dissipate. There are some lens wipes, cleaning towelettes for example, that are marketed as anti-fogging that will help prevent fogging of that lens. In my experience though, they simply don't work very well.
