Headshots not snapshots

- Many people are using profile pictures on their social media that are simply snapshots, a picture that they feel was a pretty good expression, but it may have been taken at a party. There might be a wine glass in their hand, and a balloon and confetti falling behind their heads. This kind of picture isn't necessarily consistent with the brand that the person is trying to promote. Your job making a headshot, not just a snapshot, is to help them see that your pictures will provide consistency with their brand. It will portray specific characteristics and attributes, and it will be consistent across multiple pictures, so that everybody at the company has a similar looking photo. It looks more professional. Part of your job is convincing people that they need a headshot, not just a snapshot, for their profile pictures. When you can do that, you'll be able to provide a great service, and I think your clients will appreciate having a picture that supports their brand.
