How to customize the background of your portfolio
- One option that you have a lot of control over is the background of your website. You can actually use a photo or a swatch of color, and it really gives you the ability to customize the look for your site. Now, it's really simple, it's in the same backgrounds, colors, and font section, and I recommend it for the site-wide options. And you'll see a few choices here. You can click to upload a file. Now, when you do this, let's have an example. I'll choose upload here, and I'm going to navigate to my background's folder. Now, what you're looking at here are several different types of options. For example, here's one that I made in Photoshop. You can see it right here. It's pretty big though, at three megabytes, so I may want to optimize that a bit. Three megabytes is a pretty large file.
