How to save photos for the web from Illustrator
- If you're a graphic designer, and use a tool like Adobe Illustrator, it also has the ability to export graphics for the web. Let me show you how. In the downloadable exercise area, just go to the two sides folder. And in it, you'll see a folder called vectors. Go ahead and select these and open them in Adobe Illustrator. Now most of these vector graphics are going to be in the CMYK color space, which is not optimized for the web. Fortunately, Illustrator makes it easy to save these out. Once you have the items open, what I can do now is choose file, export, export for screens. In the artboards area here, you'll see the different artboards if your document has multiple ones. Now what you can do is choose to select all. Then take a look at the formats. If you want to include transparency, select the PNG format.
