- This movie is all about taking a look at how we can use Photoshop in order to add more texture to a backdrop. Hi, my name is Chris Orwick and welcome to another episode where I come to you weekly with some tips, some techniques, some creative ideas, on how you can capture and create better photographs. Well, in this week's episode, we're in Photoshop. We'll be working with this file here. And this is a photograph that I captured in the studio. Obviously, there's one light source. It's an umbrella with diffusion over here to the right. And I have a backdrop which is created by the folks at Gravity Backdrops. I love those. You can see the original image here was captured with a lot of the background showing and other things. I retouched some of that away, changed the color and mood.
