Rich Harrington: So we've got backdrops, we've got our best images picked, now what? Abba Shapiro: Well, now we're going to actually take it into Photoshop and start compositing. We're going to put that foreground with that background, and we're going to remove the green screen. Rich: Yeah, and it's not as simple as just knocking out the backdrop and slapping two layers together, right? Abba: Not at all, as a matter of fact that's the easy part. The key is to make your key look like it doesn't exist at all. Rich: Yeah, so this is going to take a couple of extra steps. Once we've made a good selection and generated a nondestructive mask that we can refine, we're going to do things like improve the background blurring, color matching and color grading are going to be incredibly important and then of course there is always the problem of getting the two things to look like they were lit the same way. Abba: Yeah, and that's the trick, the trick is if you want to do a really nice green…
