- For this episode of Photo Gear Weekly, we are at High Line Park in New York City, one of my favorite spots in the city because where an elevated viewpoint, we're up basically at about the third floor level getting a view out into the city, no crosswalks, no cars, no bicycles. It's a great place to wander around and look for some photo opportunities, and today actually, I'm going to capture some video. I'm a little bit surprised. I find that a lot of photographers, even though they have video capabilities in their camera, they're not shooting very much video, and in talking to those photographers, I found that many of them are a little bit intimidated by video. They don't know what to make of it. Well, actually video can be pretty simple. Getting started with video on a digital SLR, for example, pretty straight forward.
