An Introduction to keying in Final Cut Pro X

- [Instructor] Let's explore a basic key inside of Final Cut Pro 10. While the user interface is a little bit different than Premiere Pro, the general experience is the same. First up, I've launched Final Cut Pro and I need to import some media. So I'll click the Import Media button and navigate to the downloaded exercise files. I've got these in my Downloads folder and I'll just grab the key media here. Let's grab our subject. And here's our motion backgrounds. And I'll pull both of those in. In this case, I'll create a new event called "Soccer". This will make it easier to find the media later. And click Import Selected. I'm not going to transcode the media however, so it doesn't need to make new media files. You'll see all the footage in there. Now, let's put one of those clips into the timeline. I'll click create New Project and give it a name. And now, let's put a video clip into the timeline. And then we'll grab a background. Now in this case, we need to put the two elements on…
