Medium format and landscape photography

- Traditionally, one of the uses of a medium-format camera has been landscape photography. Landscape photographs often demand lots of detail and medium-format film was able to capture and reproduce tremendous amounts of detail. As we've seen, these small medium-format digital cameras also yield great detail. And so, it's an obvious fit that you would use them for landscape photography. So how do they do? Well, the first obvious issue about these cameras with landscape photography is their size. Now, whether you think they're too big or too small depends on what you're used to shooting with. If you're used to shooting with a larger medium-format camera, or with a large format film camera or something, you're going to look at these and go, "This is incredible." Fuji and Hasselblad and Pentax have managed to take medium-format down to a size where I can take it out and use it for landscape photography.
