Medium-format lenses

- As with any camera system that has interchangeable lenses, with these small medium format cameras, you're going to have to make some decisions about what glass you want for your camera. At the time of this shooting, all three of these manufacturers offer a nice selection of these lenses for their respective cameras. There are many advantages to buying a lens engineered for a particular camera system, rather than adapting other lenses, and first and foremost is image quality. If a lens is engineered for a specific body or mount, then the lens designers can optimize that lens for the size of the image circle that they need to project, and for other qualities of the sensor itself, such as pixel count. Fuji has long had a reputation for making great lenses. And the lenses they're currently selling for the GFX are spectacular.
