Moving images from catalogs

- This week, on the Practicing Photographer, we're going to look at a means of moving images from one Lightroom catalog to another Lightroom catalog. This is a, specifically a Lightroom thing. This is not a kind of broader, more generic post-production concept. So if you're not a Lightroom user, you've got the time now to go watch cat videos or something. So I normally keep all of my images in a single catalog. If you're a Lightroom user, you know that all images have to go into a catalog and that there's no right or wrong way to organize catalogs. You can have separate catalogs for different subject matter or do what I do and keep everything in one catalog and use mechanisms within that catalog to divide things up. That's how I normally work.
