Options for making a stand for VR cameras

- [Instructor] If you have seen my Ricoh Theta course or my VR course, then you should recognize this, it's the Ricoh Theta. This is a 360-degree camera. Here's another one, this is the Nikon KeyMission. Both of these shoot spherical 360 stills and videos, you've probably encountered these. These are what people are calling VR videos, you can see spin them around, you can navigate these 360 spaces, and if you've shot with either of these cameras or any of the other VR cameras that are currently on the market, you may have discovered the difficulty of figuring out how to mount them somewhere. They both, both these cameras feature standard quarter inch tripod sockets on the bottom, the problem is if you've got them on a tripod, and the viewer looks straight down in your video, they're going to see tripod legs sticking out the bottom, and they're going to see weird tripod legs because the middle will have been edited out.…
