- There are seemingly countless ways that we can share our digital photos, but increasingly I'm finding that when I want to share a photo with somebody else, I might actually just AirDrop that photo to them. AirDrop is a technology available on Apple devices, and so if you're using an iPhone, an iPad, or even a Macintosh computer, you can actually AirDrop photos back and forth between your own devices, or the device of someone else's. If you'd like to share a photo that you just captured with somebody who's there with you, you can share that with AirDrop as long as you're using compatible devices. The first step is on your Apple device, your iPad, iPhone, or your computer, make sure that AirDrop is enabled. So here on the iPhone for example, I can go into settings, and then under General I can go into AirDrop, and make sure that AirDrop is set to Everyone. At least temporarily I want to be able to share, to send and receive with everyone, not just those people who are in my contacts…
