- Whether you've captured time-lapse or video, you might want to play it back to review your footage. And this is very easy to do inside your Canon camera. To see a playback, just press the Playback button. And this enters playback mode. Now, you see that we have some options. We can press the Play button, and the footage begins to playback. Additionally, if I press the Set button, I get some extra controls, here. You notice we can step through those options. For example, maybe I want to watch this playback in slow motion. That's great for reviewing critical action. Or perhaps, I need to jump to the first frame. Or move forward or backwards to review a shot. Additionally, if you want to, you can even edit the clip. This will allow you to adjust the beginning and end and save a new movie. Although, usually this is easier done on a computer. Changing the top dial here, affects the volume. Just keep in mind that the volume playback quality is pretty low. There we go, I'll turn that down.…
